Lovely, small, tucked away gem in Hanover! Sweet family-run local business with phenomenal food—the meat is freshly prepared, and the potato skins were truly some of the best I’ve ever had! Will return many times, and will bring more family! Thank you to the Craft Eats staff for a great evening!

The atmosphere is awesome, funny how it used to be Klingers which is funny to see how much it has changed. The food was delicious, I really liked the spicy peach sauce on the Glazed and Dazed sandwich (photo of sandwich and their signature hash). Their signature hash is full of flavor, spicy, and the burnt ends are perfectly cooked. I will admit that the total was a little salty for breakfast for me, my two children and wife. Other than that it was totally worth it!

This place has amazing food! The food is high quality. You can tell it’s important to them to use high quality ingredients, have great customer service and provide food that has flavor! I’ve been here twice now and got the same sandwich both times and both times the sandwich was delicious. It’s hard to find places with consistency and it seems they have it. Came here with my boyfriend the first time and my 16 year old son the second time and both of them also really enjoyed their sandwiches. We had, Dazed and glazed sandwich, the club sandwich and the super chubby. Also tried the craft hash, coleslaw and potato salad

Great food and prices. Love the more old fashioned home cooked meal style. Owners were very kind and made sure my food was to my liking.

I showed up at the lunch rush, and it took awhile to get my order. That said, it was well worth the wait. The atmosphere was nice, and it was quiet. It would be an excellent place to stop for breakfast for that reason alone. I got The Chubby. Wasn't sure $18 was going to be fair, but as it turned out, I was very wrong. It's worth every penny of that, especially considering the recent rampant inflation. The Reading Sodas are tasty, many different flavors. Worth it to stop in for this reason alone. Definitely coming back whenever I'm in town.

Food was amazing! The owners John and (I forget the wife’s name) really care about the place and their customers. The first time I went John’s wife even packed up my leftovers for me! I was served by their daughter Ariana and she was the sweetest as well! Inside was so cozy and you can even buy multiple Reading Sodas amongst other things like bakery items that I believe Ariana bakes herself! Definitely gonna be a consistent customer from this point on.

A Hidden Gem in Hanover! I can’t say enough good things about Craft Eats in Hanover, PA. From the moment I walked in, I felt the laid-back vibes—not just from the cozy atmosphere but from the owners themselves. They are truly the sweetest people, and you can feel the love and care they put into every bite. The food? Phenomenal. Fresh, flavorful, and locally sourced! You can taste the difference! I went for breakfast and came back for dinner! The prices are just right! Portion size you can't beat it! So glad I stumbled upon this spot—it’s officially my new go-to. If you're anywhere near the area, do yourself a favor and check them out. You won’t regret it! I believe they took over the building where the Ale House used to be!

I was on a different course when I stumbled upon this gem. It’s quaint and so welcoming. Lots of space and seating. A nice bar area with a foot step. The bar stools have seats with backs. They smoke/make their own meats to use in their sandwiches..they use local products for everything!…if you like meaty sandwiches, try this place!!! They’ve got some interesting combos along with your favs —— I’ll be back!

This was my 1st time there, at my daughters suggestion. Our family was not disappointed. The food was delicious, if you like a combination of Jewish deli and German cuisine this is the place for you.

My son and me, recently had the pleasure of having lunch at Craft Eats, and I can honestly say it was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment we walked in, the friendly staff made us feel welcome with outstanding customer service and genuine hospitality. What truly sets Craft Eats apart is their homemade quality and commitment to locally sourced ingredients. You can taste the freshness and care in every bite. Everything feels thoughtfully prepared, flavorful, and made with passion. And the star of the meal? The Reuben sandwich — hands down the best Reuben I’ve ever eaten. Perfectly balanced flavors, tender meat, fresh bread, and cooked to perfection. Every bite was incredible. If you’re looking for amazing food, warm service, and a place that truly values quality, Craft Eats is a must-visit. Highly recommended!
